KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Backup Architecture and Engineering to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Accountable for analyzing complex hardware and software issues associated with backup-related technologies, including Rubrik, NetBackup, Cohesity, DataDomain and Enterprise Vault; implement backup solutions that support core organizational functions and ensure their high availability
Deliver engineering specifications, assist with functional specifications, and collaborate on technical design and specifications for projects and initiatives
Analyze, design, test, document, and implement solutions for continuous data availability, integrity, backup and protection
Provide technical services for customers in a highly complex backup environments and demonstrate ability to assess technical impact to the project/new technology along with technical risks
Minimum of ten years of IT experience with five years of experience in Backup Engineering
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college
Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup, Rubrik, DataDomain and similar backup technologies
Solid knowledge of storage solutions from EMC, NetApp, Pure and similar technologies
Experience with Enterprise data protection and disaster recover solution and understand Enterprise application data management requirements
US Citizenship is required
