Consultant, Software Engineering-2
The Fraud Insights team within Mastercard is a newly forming, self-organizing, agile team that supports the Mastercards Fraud Intelligence services. Members of this team have an opportunity to build new and extend current fraud prevention services. This exciting area within Mastercard is growing fast and creating cutting edge technologies that prevent fraud across the globe.
This is an agile team that will be balanced across full stack engineering and data engineering. The team will also provide leadership for other teams in using strong architecture and technology delivery practices the create the best solutions.

Provide technical oversight for delivery of solutions across multiple scrum teams
Develop and deliver solutions for fraud prevention as part of a scrum team
Develop both internal and external dashboards using QlikSense
Read and interpret conceptual, logical, and physical models
Create ways to make data from multiple sources available
Offer technical leadership to ensure delivery of services that drive solutions using data patterns with a high level of innovation, quality, and efficiency.
Investigate and understand new technologies, leading their delivery adoption.
Provide technical guidance and training to the other team members.
Understand data modeling concepts and their application: entities and tables, relations and constraints, attribute data types and column data types
Assistance with production support issues by acting as point-of-contact and subject matter expert in resolving defects, incidents, and problem tickets.
All About You
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a technical lead building world class solutions on a global scale
SQL knowledge a must. Experience with advanced data warehousing a plus
Experience using QlikSense or related Business Intelligence technologies such as WebFocus, Tableau, PowerBI
Experience with; Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Impala, HBase or other relevant Big Data technologies
Software development with Java a Plus
Excellent problem-solving skills
Highly analytical with the ability to well within an agile, collaborative team
