This position will have full ownership and independently design, build, analyze, update and distribute all required reporting of data and other metrics primarily from the iCAPs system (Corrective Action Plans). Must have the ability to handle constant changes to automation/enhancements as needed. This position will work with other areas (Risk, Compliance, IA, Sales, Fulfillment, etc.) in analyzing complex metrics where they will need to not only guide other employees to an understanding of the data produced but also interpret the data and results through the use of professional judgment. Being able to integrate in-depth understanding of business needs with reporting tools and methodologies will be very beneficial to the success of this position. Ownership of all data and being able to independently work through the majority of problems and solve complex problems will be required. There is a direct impact through quality and timeliness of metrics provided that effect senior level management, Originations Issue Management team and other closely related teams. May occasionally provide informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members and other team members that will back up this process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Design, build, update and distribute all reports required for the management and reporting needs of the Originations Issue Management Team. This includes all senior level/global reporting as well as data and metrics needed for the day to day management of the Issues our team owns. An advanced understanding of Excel is required.

  • Completes all procedures needed to document metrics and reporting that's created and how it's utilized

  • ability to present metric/reporting output in written (Excel/Powerpoint) or verbal communications

  • ability to understand the Originations Issue Management process, how it interacts with all supporting areas, and proactively understand how reporting should support the needs.

  • Complete historical Issue Management work loads as it relates to staffing to assist in future capacity needs.

  • Education: high school diploma required; college degree preferred

  • Experience: 3-5 years mortgage experience required

  • Technical skills: Advanced Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint skills

  • Analytical skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data to meet needs requested.
