Perform governance and Asset Management (AM) support functions as requested. Major accountabilities summarized below are a comprehensive list of AM functions.- Are you process oriented and have a keen focus on details?- Do you enjoy collaborating with others working towards a common goal?- Do you have a drive for creativity and innovation?AccountabilitiesGovernance Perform license management to ensure compliance, optimize usage and value. Perform software discovery to identify license violations, and oversubscribed and underused occurrences of software. Enforce IT asset compliance standards. Support periodic true-ups with vendors to ensure compliance with software licenses. Maintain software database of non-centralized software to ensure license compliance. Respond to user inquiries about Mastercards software and hardware standards and requirements. Work with Legal to ensure the use of software assets are aligned with license agreements. Support ongoing awareness programs, including communications and training for software compliance and other asset management-related topics. Support internal and external audits as requested.Asset Management Support Manage assigned projects (project planning, issues management, status reporting, meeting facilitation and presentations). Support new initiatives and special requests as assigned, e.g., technology refreshes, next generation initiatives. Support ongoing development, enhancement, and enforcement of AM policies and procedures. Perform periodic research on AM-related topics to keep abreast of best practices and directional changes. Support the development and distribution of relevant AM metrics; monitor for reasonableness. Support budgetary-related deliverables, e.g., financial planning/forecasting. Adhere to defined MasterCard policies and procedures. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and good corporate citizenship always. Complete defined administrative tasks, e.g., time entry, training, career development. Support departmental reporting and metrics.Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with all stages of the asset lifecycle. Knowledge of software licensing and contract terminology. General process knowledge of inventory and audit reconciliations. Excellent customer service skills. Experience in working across teams to prioritize needs and to build relationships is a must. Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Flexera, Domo, XLR, Remedy. Advanced knowledge of the MS Office toolset.Due to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
