Job Description:

The ClientWorks– Edge Development team is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and deploy technologies that save lives and improve the health of communities. As a Software Engineer, you will create industry-leading technology that impacts patient care and/or Cerner business around the globe. You are responsible for writing code, testing and debugging new software. You will make enhancements to existing software from clear requirements, participate in code reviews and identify basic issues or deviations from best practices and develop knowledge of assigned solution, technologies, development processes and ecosystems.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Cerner solutions

  • Experience with CCL and/or Millennium data models

Expectations:

  • Live in or near the greater Kansas City, MO area

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
