What you’ll achieve
As a Strategy & Market Insights Product Manager you will be the voice of the customer and will be responsible for product strategy of Dell Technologies services with emphasis on research, ideation and concept development. You will be in a dynamic environment with other motivated, talented individuals who inspire greatness in their teammates.
Be responsible for understand industry and competitive environment for Consumer cloud products by analyzing market data to identify trends and develop insights related to opportunities, and then translate these into strategic operational plans
Conduct customer research initiatives (qualitative and quantitative), including design and commission studies to research agencies, and analyzing customer data leveraging internal sources
Provide in-depth market analysis for the next generation of Cloud/as-a-Service offers including technical and market trends, as well as, execute competitive analysis through secondary research and consulting with analyst and expert sources (e.g. Gartner, IDC, TSIA) for key OEM players and channel providers
Identify new growth areas, open spaces, new technology and emerging service opportunities for Cloud/as-a-Service services and deliver actionable recommendations to product managers based on collected data and in-depth analysis
Engage design teams, marketing teams, suppliers, and business unit leaders and executives to ensure the strategy meets Dell’s requirement of product leadership for the given technology area and present to executive stakeholders

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
5-7 years of professional Product Management experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; 3+ years’ Technology Industry experience in Research, Market / Customer Insights, Product Management or equivalent role
3+ years’ experience in a primary research role conducting customer research and/or market analysis
3+ years of experience with Cloud, As-a-service (XaaS) consumption models
Experience gathering, analyzing and triangulating competitive data and information and the ability to consume technical, financial and business documentation fluidly and quickly
Executive presentation skills and track record of telling compelling stories with technical competence
Training and/or experience in design thinking, workshop moderation and idea generation techniques
Experience conducting and designing qualitative (e.g. focus groups, in-depth interviews, observation) and quantitative (e.g. surveys, experimentation, statistical analysis) primary research at market research agency in the technology space is a plus
