Senior Data Architect at Children's National
As a Data Architect you will develop an organizational data strategy that addresses industry requirements through collaboration with IT teams and management. Your responsibilities will include building an inventory of existing and new data needed to implement the architecture of a given solution; identifying and evaluating current data management technologies and applying those as necessary. Additional responsibilities are to develop data models for database structures, design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications; implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility; monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems and take disparate data and merge new systems with existing warehouse structures.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 2 years of application architecture, network management and performance management work experience
At least 2 years writing complex SQL statements
Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience working with big data or analytics
Ability to work overtime and irregular hours as needed
Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
Experience working with Research or Academia
