JOB SUMMARYResponsible for providing direction and leadership to designated staff. Develop and maintain software applications, integration strategies and oversee Development Operations initiatives. Coordinate and collaborate with Design, Architecture, Development, Test and Operations to ensure optimal customer experience. Responsible for managing the support of existing and new product development in the environments and the deployment of software systems and components.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceOversee installation and configuration of software and related infrastructures.Wide understanding of all Software Development Lifecycle SDLC activities, including, requirements, design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance.Ability to communicate complex business concepts and work directly with developers to implement software solutions.Represent Development Operations in architecture/design phase meetings on all engineering projects to provide input and intimately learn about the code.Manage Development Operations team members, tasks and schedule.Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies and procedures.Maintain good relations with peers, team, other organizations and vendors.Monitor and provide guidance in the capital budget process to ensure projects are cost effective, completed on time, and on budget.Be part of an effective front line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports as to drive a high performance culture and environment.Strong understanding of application architecture including load balancing, ports, security, LDAP, IIS, Apache/Tomcat, etc.Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and ability to write and evaluate T-SQL and/or PLSQL.Perform other duties as requested by Manager.This Candidate is responsible for; * Ensuring alignment of project specific designs with the application architecture roadmap * Supporting project and/or development teams on functional and technical design activities * Defining the interaction between applications, databases, and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage * Act as a subject matter expert, providing the vision and strategy for functional application architectureREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional mannerAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to provide coaching and counseling when necessaryAbility to supervise and motivate othersStrong leadership skills with proven ability to provide effective, results oriented directionAbility to use personal computer and software applications i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.The Spectrum brand is powered and innovated by Company .
