Charter Spectrum Sr. Billing Analyst Mobile in Maryland Heights, Missouri
Position will provide expert customer support as part of a team of billing and application support analysts. Position manages and coordinates activities concerning the billing platform and other 3rd party applications, including but not limited to: researching functionality inquiries, managing enhancement requests, and providing support for billing system releases, engage in Tier 3 and 4 application support activities and upgrades.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience and the needs of internal clients and projectsMaintain and perform updates to parameters on the billing platform production, training and test. Review and validate parameter updates and configuration as required to ensure continuity and system integrity. This includes but is not limited to system parameters and system interfacesValidate testing for enhancements and participate in billing system release/upgrade activities prior to implementation to ensure daily operations are not adversely impactedWork with the vendor to ensure applications are optimized, review future releases and relate the impacts to team members and business units, and plan/implement solution upgrades and additionsEngage with appropriate stakeholders to develop system requirements deliverables, work with business units to test solutions, obtain sign-off, and prepare documentation for internal change controlStrong analytical ability to diagnose complex billing and other system related issues and provide resolution. Manage SLA expectations and ensure delivery against committed SLAsPerform research and respond to inquiries from all areas of the organization. Serves as Subject Matter Expert SME within the Tier3/Tier4 technical support teamsActively monitor systems on a daily basis and respond proactively to alerts.Troubleshoot interface issues and manage updates between internal application support and billing vendors.Assume a mentorship role with other team members as needed to share knowledge and contribute to the fulfillment of departmental goalsPerform other duties as requested or assigned by managementProvide executive level reporting and dashboards as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.Ability to facilitate cross-functional communications among multiple teams.Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.Ability to contribute to multiple projects at one time.Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Knowledge of personal computer and software application skills i.e. Word processing, spreadsheet, Visio, Project, etc.Strong leadership skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.The Spectrum brand is powered and innovated by Company .
