Title: Senior Mission Planning Subject Matter Expert (Systems Engineer)
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Provide an Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME), who will act as the primary user representative for the cross-functional development team.
Act as the liaison between the development team and user as well as test communities.
Collaborate and communicate within the cross-functional development team to ensure capabilities are developed correctly and with a stable operational footing.
Involved in user evaluations and test events to identify critical functions of the system and their impacts on user workflow.
Provide validation of features implemented by the development team and contribute to 'definition of done' criteria for tasks.
Contribute to developing test procedures to ensure operational applicability and realism.
With the complexity and variability of how a solution can be generated for a low observable mission planning scenario, this individual will be responsible to explain how the system is providing beneficial mission impact and justify the system's capabilities to the user community.
This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance (A U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Required Education and/or Experience:
Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree? (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study
Experience with Low Observable mission planning
Experience with intelligence support in a Low Observable planning environment
3+ years of experience with mission planning
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
1+ years of experience in software or systems testing
Operational experience with Low Observable weapon systems
Typical Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
