Teach and uphold IT processes to all parties, and ensure that the process is followed by all involved. Must be the voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls
Coach multiple teams in implementing and practicing Agile principles and methods
Coach team toward self-organization
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog items are properly and fully defined prior to next iteration/sprint
Hold teams accountable for meeting iteration/sprint commitments
Encourage and help to achieve transparency by widely reporting team progress/success to stakeholders
Motivate the team to achieve team goals
Work with Product Owners, managers and the development team (including architects, testers, etc.) to evolve the organization
Lead a team to increase their productivity (velocity) while reducing defects for the organization collectively
Facilitate the roles within the organization to work efficiently, effectively and together
Work with the IT team to help identify and resolve impediments and barriers
Work closely with the Product Owners, Management and stakeholders on all active projects
Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager highly preferred
Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-direction, and ability to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results driven, team-oriented environment
Must have the ability to lead by influence, not by authority
Proficient with desktop software applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
