  • Teach and uphold IT processes to all parties, and ensure that the process is followed by all involved. Must be the voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls

  • Coach multiple teams in implementing and practicing Agile principles and methods

  • Coach team toward self-organization

  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog items are properly and fully defined prior to next iteration/sprint

  • Hold teams accountable for meeting iteration/sprint commitments

  • Encourage and help to achieve transparency by widely reporting team progress/success to stakeholders

  • Motivate the team to achieve team goals

  • Work with Product Owners, managers and the development team (including architects, testers, etc.) to evolve the organization

  • Lead a team to increase their productivity (velocity) while reducing defects for the organization collectively

  • Facilitate the roles within the organization to work efficiently, effectively and together

  • Work with the IT team to help identify and resolve impediments and barriers

  • Work closely with the Product Owners, Management and stakeholders on all active projects

  • Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team


  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager highly preferred

  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures

  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle

  • Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem solving skills

  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-direction, and ability to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results driven, team-oriented environment

  • Must have the ability to lead by influence, not by authority

  • Proficient with desktop software applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
