GEHA Intern, Technology Governance in Lee’s Summit, Missouri

SKILLS

Our Technology Governance and Process team has an exciting opportunity focused on participating in process evaluation and improvement projects for GEHA's Technology division. Responsibilities include documenting existing processes, evaluating and analyzing potential areas for improvement, and presenting recommendations to Technology management. We're looking for someone with an information technology management, business management, or business analysis background who has an interest in technology management and process evaluation. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and persistence are important for this position.

Potential projects include:

  • Evaluation of division process compliance

  • Evaluation of department policies and adherence

  • Identification of Technology process requirements

  • Maintenance of governance data

Minimum Requirements

  • 3.0 overall GPA

  • Computer Science/Information Technology

  • Excellent analytical and mathematics skills

  • Ability to work in teams

  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team

  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word
