Under the direction of the Strategic Sourcing Manager, this position will be responsible for working collaboratively with clinical and operations staff to: - Evaluate products and services for their safety, efficacy and cost prior to and after reaching patients. - Embed a culture of continuous improvement around how products and services are utilized in order to reduce cost and deliver world-class safety and outcomes. The incumbent will be responsible for empowering users across the institution with a unique blend of process management, project management and change management leadership/expertise to identify, define, promote and communicate potential cost reduction strategies and standardization opportunities system wide.

  • Develops and implements strategies and processes for product standardization and cost reduction.

  • Develops and maintains value analysis process and reporting, including maintenance and communication of standardization and utilization outcomes.

  • Supports supply chain purchased services, capital equipment and IT value analysis process.

  • Functions as resource for Supply Chain Services in determination of substitutes for backordered items. Coordinates investigation and follow-up of clinical product quality and safety issues relating to clinical products utilized throughout the organization.


  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience Clinical experience; A working knowledge of medical/surgical products clinical equipment, diagnostic testing and medical terminology is required.

  • Pediatric clinical nursing experience, experience in the charge nurse role, management experience preferred

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years experience

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Current professional nursing license in

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $29.76, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
