AN OVERVIEW:

The Technology Initiatives Analyst is responsible for leveraging new technology ideation, enhancing existing technology capabilities and managing the technology strategy for the Gold Crown Customer Development team. The Technology Initiatives Analyst works closely with the Data Management Manager and Execution Strategist to support improvements and innovation in sales tools, ordering tools, communication tools, and process improvement. The individual will support the development (maintenance) and implementation of a variety of tools and applications that enable the team to achieve its goals and objectives and support the ability of business partners to meet theirs.

This position requires consistent partnership and collaboration with internal and external business partners such as IT, product teams, order management systems (OMS), field and in-house sales teams, installation, etc. in order to develop solutions to meet the needs of the Gold Crown Customer Development team.

WHO WE ARE:

TThe Gold Crown data management team is responsible for a wide range of activities designed to support Hallmark Gold Crown including the customer development team and our internal product partners. In this position you have the opportunity to directly influence how the customer development team interacts with and sells to GC independent retailers. Our team thrives on creating tools and streamlining the process to enable even greater success for the teams we support. We look for ways to eliminate nonessential work and automate where we can.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience in Hallmark sales, data management or technology based roles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have:

  • Preferred - 2 or more years of technology / project management experience

  • Must have strong technology and development skills including knowledge of Excel, Access, Microstrategy/EDW, etc.

  • SQL Server Relational Database Knowledge (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, SQL Server Integration Services)

  • Client/Server Based Tools (Access Forms/UI Development, VBA for Applications, ODBC)

  • Browser Based Utilities (ASP, C#, IIS)

  • Experience working in Coins/Impact Sales Force

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, resourceful and self-reliant

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in an unstructured environment where details and direction are not clearly outlined
