Technical Engagement Leader
The Technical Engagement Leader (TEL) has responsibility for the overall definition, coordination, delivery, and planning of technical installation, upgrade, and client on-boarding work for Cerner’s cloud-based health care platforms as well as the tools that are used to manage those platforms. The TEL provides the design and guidance needed to implement technical solutions in a cloud-based environment. The TEL is the expert judge of risk factors for successful implementation and management of their systems. In addition to project management work, the TEL will coordinate resources, scheduling, and other factors including but not limited to basic operational and financial metrics involved with these projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related Technology field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of Information technology work experience or equivalent relevant work experience
3+ years of client facing experience
3+ years of experience managing application and system implementations and upgrades
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Willingness to travel as needed (0-20%)
Willingness to participate in an on call rotation if needed
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
