Sr Data Visualization Developer
What you'll do... :
As the Senior Data Visualization Developer you will use previous experience with a toolset to analyze business problems from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
Effectively clean, prep, and analyze data using descriptive statistics and exploratory data analysis.
Provides operational support
Takes ownership of dashboards & reports development for the given subject areas
Uses mastery of tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or something similar, to visualize and share data.
Works closely with business users to gather requirements
Gathers feedback and creates recommendations for improving the usability of BI solutions.
Articulates clear and trusted recommendations based on analysis.
Able to execute against set objectives.

Pay range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000__

What you'll bring to the team... :
Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Minimum 7 years of BI development experience
1 year or more of hands-on Looker development experience including LOOKML
Minimum 5 years of reports, dashboard development with MSFT tools and technologies
Proficient in SQL with 5-6 years experience
Proficient working in agile development mode with use of Trello or JIRA like task management tools
Experience working with data warehouse, data marts, and design concepts
Experience with data preparation, data cleansing and transformation
Experience with Python
Exposure to Design Thinking or similar UX processes and philosophies
Experience with D3.js or similar charting libraries
