About This Job

The SharePoint Developer will support the Commercial line of business by using Agile methodology to design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business problems. Additionally, the position will support, and improve, existing SharePoint workflows, InfoPath forms, and the overall usability of the Commercial line of business SharePoint site collections. The SharePoint Developer will partner with IT to understand any relevant infrastructure and governance frameworks.

To produce the required outputs, the candidate will be required to analyze various business needs and assist with determining the appropriate design to solve the issue. The candidate must be able to quickly achieve an in-depth understanding of the current systems and integrations used in the Commercial Bank, so that they are able to offer solutions for complex projects varying in scope. The candidate must be a self-starter and display proven analytical and critical thinking skills. A willingness and desire to learn will also be essential. This position will participate on several concurrent projects, many of which will be found on the Bank’s top twenty strategic project list.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with designing strategies to solve complex business needs

  • Consult on numerous projects that impact the Commercial line of business

  • Deliver effective resolutions and answers to customer issues and inquiries

  • Work with customers to gather requirements, design, and deliver SharePoint site and site collections

  • Participate in Quality Assurance and UAT

  • Design, create, support and automate processes using workflows and InfoPath forms

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint

  • Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot and support users

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage expectations and explain technical details.

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Strong level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations

  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus

  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities

  • Demonstrated initiative and innovative thinking skills. Ability to analyze details, translate technical and non-technical terminology, and adopt a big picture view

  • Working knowledge of the Agile project methodology

  • Commitment to continuous education and drive to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies


  • 3+ years hands on experience with SharePoint workflow creation using SharePoint Designer preferred

  • Proficiency using and supporting InfoPath
