Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst**
Responsible for transforming business, functional and system level design documents into application focused test plans. Create, maintain and lead execution of complex system and tax based test scenarios. Create clearly documented defects that enable a developer to recreate the issue. Lead defect triage reviews. Maintain and update test cases, test designs, service ware, and support documentation to ensure testing and support of applications is accurate. Design test plans in a manner that supports automation. Execute end-to-end functional tests. Collaborate to achieve end-to-end application and business process quality. Review application and project documentation to ensure it meets customer needs. Create and execute automated test scripts. Write functional and system requirements, working with user community to define and document system requirements for new implementations and enhancements, facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions, review design documentation with users and developers, prepare process and data models, prioritize system functionality based on requirements, and designing screens and reports. Work with developer upon failure of system and apply patches and fixes to current system(s). Ensure 100% accuracy of all test documentation within the standard test case and defect repository. Train and guide less experienced QA staff.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Five years of IT experience in quality assurance, business analysis or software testing, to include:
Review systems design, data and analyze the process modeling of all requirements;
Gap analysis of End-to-End Test plans;
Short-term and long-term test planning;
QA and BA Business Data Model (BDM);
Design & utilize test harnesses;
Test repository creation;
Process map design and root cause analysis;
Develop QA timeline and mitigation plan design; and
Mentoring and training QA teams.
One year of which must include:
Cognitive System Testing using IBM Watson;
Test Automation Framework design for retail tax applications;
Retail tax electronic filing integration quality analysis;
HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT);
HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM);
Retail tax office setup and POS (Point of Sale) system testing;
Amdocs ClarifyCRM; and
Retail tax office Back End Service Layer (BESL) testing.
