Aetna Senior Proposal Analyst in Kansas City, Missouri

The Senior Proposal Analyst is responsible for leading our pharmacy proposal efforts from start to finish, including but not limited to, working across departments to gather the information needed writing/editing response.
Participate in proposal strategy development. Address questions or issues related to the request to enable efficient completion of the request. Proposes solutions for meeting customer needs
Apply best practices to ensure that proposal submissions are compliant with the applicable RFP instructions and delivered on time.
Work with the sales support team to create a work plan to determine who will respond to each question and integrate with a win strategy.
Identify sample materials required for RFP including standard reports supplied to customer, product brochures, ID cards, etc.
Customize questionnaire responses based on case-specific quotation strategy and customer priorities
Works with team to support follow-up questions or concerns related to submitted proposals which may include clarification of statistics, adhoc requests, additional product and service information, etc.
Participates in department projects and consultant and marketing surveys
Experience working in proposal software solutions such as PMAPS with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Must have strong skills including problem solving and strategic thinking
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal guidance
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor degree.
A Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years experience, or a combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
