Job Description:
Cerner's Continuum group is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager! As a Senior Product Manager, you will be accountable for delivery of innovative, market-ready products, and manage strategy execution for one or more large product components or features or one or more medium-sized or complex products. Some of your responsibilities will include balancing resources for one or more scrum teams across features, defects, risk prevention and retirement of technical debt; prioritizing the product roadmap, managing interdependencies and deciding when to release the new functionality; and translating market requirements into product features. You may also be expected to own the product backlog, working through the product owner or directly with scrum team to prioritize and clarify complex product requirements; lead product proof-of-concept and experimentation processes; and lead effective product partner validation processes. Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
At least 6 years of product design, product strategy, health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or other relevant product-related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
At least 5 years of health care IT work experience
At least 4 years of product management work experience
Expectations
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Kansas City, MO
