Senior Marketing Manager - Web Platform & Implementation
The Sr Marketing Manager, Web Platform and Development develops, recommends and manages the technology platforms and roadmap for H&R Block web properties. The focus of this position is to lead the thinking and deliverables on consumer-based web experience journeys, contribute to the teams perspective on web technology and functionality priorities, and synthesize enterprise web strategy with data to build the story of how the web is performing across all stages of consumer journey.
Drive the business’ priorities with the various teams responsible for executing journeys, infrastructure, analytics, and optimization by managing the day to day operations of H&R Block’s web properties.
Mange the Web infrastructure (CMS, application integrations, environments) to ensure stability and how to scale fast while increasing capabilities to meet business and customer needs.
Prepare insights and read-outs for internal business unit reviews Web Operations
Own the vendor relationship, implementation, training and enhancements for testing, rating & review, experience, project management platforms.
Ensure Web data and analytics are collected to appropriately inform decision making for mitigating risks, resolving issues and reporting performance.
Contribute to the overall site vision—the “imagine this”—keeping it continually refreshed based on evolving technical capabilities, content delivery, digital design and audience expectation. Research and bring point-of-view on enterprise web best practices to the discussion
Push the thinking on site technology usage and the bridge between the web experience, analytics and sales process
Partner with Information Technology, Web Producers, Marketing Manager and Media Managers on infrastructure investment, best practices, and operational workflow.
Work closely with cross-functional groups spanning global digital marketing, marketing, product and other business unit teams to optimize our requirements and priorities in order to drive the business and serve the customer.
Establish metrics and analyze results to make journey and web experience optimization decisions and show impact on business objectives
Develop a center of excellence educating teams and stakeholders on best practices (regardless of platform) for engagement, publishing, copywriting, analytics, Web processes, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years significant, demonstrated experience in agency or client-side B2B enterprise marketing strategy-related work, with web emphasis or corporate .com responsibility
Strong ability to develop business processes while executing and iterate as you go
Resolve challenges through ongoing cross-functional conversation
Ability to influence through expertise and credibility
Experience with enterprise web, sales and marketing strategies
Ability to synthesize data and qualitative feedback to glean insights and drive an action plan
Demonstrated expertise of the enterprise tech buyer journey
Ability to thrive in a fast pace results oriented environment
Take abstract ideas and able to translate them into clear strategies and plans of execution.
Sharp understanding and demonstrated expertise in web strategy, including user pathing and full-journey content strategies for awareness and demand objectives as well as the overall customer experience.
Demonstrated ability to drive successful outcomes through collaborative teamwork at all levels in an organization
