Burns & McDonnell Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Functional Lead) in Kansas City, Missouri
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will lead functional efforts in designing, configuring and testing financial systems for enhancements and upgrades. This may include the development of any custom reports, extensions or modules and integrations between multiple systems. Areas include (but not limited to) foreign currency, international subsidiaries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, expense reports, fixed assets, project costing, project billing/revenue and project budgeting/forecasting.
Manage the documentation of functional business requirements, business rules and process workflows.
Lead the functional design, configuration and testing efforts of financial system enhancements and upgrades to meet business requirements
Lead and execute test script process and procedures.
Lead the design and integration testing between financial systems
Manage training materials and conduct training with end-users.
Resolve system issues with functional end users, IT developers and software support
Build effective relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to team members.
Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
All other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience with Oracle EBS R12 applications and PL/SQL preferred.
Self-motivated and good organizational skills.
Able to analyze and solve problems independently.
Able to multi-task, prioritize and assign duties to team members
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 8 years’ accounting experience.
