Senior Consultant

Job Description:

As a Senior Consultant with Cerner's Federal team, you will advise clients on workflows across service lines, and guide clients through interdependencies and design decision impacts. Create strategic plan with client to obtain value achievement across service line. Identify workflow and process improvements and make recommendations to client and project leadership. Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies. Engage in the sales process to assist with accurate quoting of contractual scope.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business, related field, or equivalent and relevant work experience

  • At least 6 years of software implementation work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of health care information technology consulting or support work experience

  • Previous experience with Cerner Millennium

  • Previous experience working for the federal government in any capacity

Expectations

  • Must be willing to travel up to 100% as necessary

  • Must be located near a major international airport
