With a consumer-first focus this group delivers impactful digital solutions that have a direct impact on consumer brand engagement and retention in the digital space, which results in revenue growth and brand relevance.What we're looking for:You're a hands-onSr. Back-End Software Engineerready to jointhe DCOE's Engineering team.Yourprimaryresponsibilities includeapplicationarchitecturedesign and developmentof the DCOE's microservice-based platform. In addition,you'llprovideinsight to cross-functional colleagues (e.g.Architecture,Product, UX, Security) abouttechnicalrequirements and limitationsencountered during development.What you'll be doing:As aSr. Back-End Developer,you'll be combiningtechnology and design toscalable and robust microservices that powerthewebsitesand web applicationsforHallmark'sconsumers.To fulfill your responsibilities,you'llneed to be able toprovidethe following day-to-day duties:Build robust and scalable software in multiple modernobjectoriented and functional languages. We are currently building our microservices stack using Golang.Implement microservices using both asynchronous messaging services and RESTful APIsDesign and implement multi-threaded and multi-processor solutionsWork on integrations with other internal and external teamsParticipate in creating and clarifying User Stories, and in planning SprintsDive into hard problems and successfully deliver great results on scheduleConduct innovative technology research, concept specification and design of individual software componentsWho we think would be a great fit:We are looking for someone who not only loves designing and building great softwarebut is also passionate about getting stuff done.
