WORK LOCATION: 4840 E 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64127
BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION:
Test, measure and inspect in process product, finished product, sample product, returned product and raw materials.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Inspection and Specification Testing
Prioritize in-process inspection and testing
Measure and inspect blade attributes
Determine if blades meet specification
Document results of blade inspections
Reject product not meeting specification and document non-conforming product
Other Testing as Required
Perform bent test on blades received from heat treat
Document test results
Pass and reject blades based on specifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or nationally recognized regionally accredited equivalent required
Some college coursework preferred
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Minimum of two years of applicable experience
Detailed oriented, accurate, organized
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and execute critical thinking
Ability to work alone and within teams
Intermediate mathematic and measurement skills
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience with calibrated equipoment (calipers, micrometers, etc,)
Basic knowledge quality terms, definitions and concepts
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acess, SharePoint and current quality management system(s) software
English fluency for safety, training and documentation purposes
Stable work history with good employment references
Excellent attendance record
HOURS OF WORK:
Must be available to work onsite for the following shift:
Shift: MID 4pm-2am; Monday through Friday (eventually leading to Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am)
