Product Owner -- Technology Architect
As a Technology Architect – Product Owner with Cerner's Federal team, you will lead coordination with client and other functional stakeholders to understand scope, requirements, and needs related to ongoing and future capabilities for integrated systems. You will analyze test findings as needed to determine whether they constitute a defect against existing requirements or a request for enhancement. You will also validate the need for and confirmation of mapping to workflow to enable tracking. As well as participate in Design sessions to identify and prioritize requirements of the integration (input to ICD). You will participate in build demonstrations to guide technical team on development and delivery. You will create solution scenarios for validation events and participation in workflow validation/testing. As well as be responsible for managing and clearly expressing product backlog items. You will order the items in the product backlog to best achieve goals and missions. As well as ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what teams will work next.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, CIS, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience
At least 4 years of System engineering or technical consulting work experience
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Experience working with Cerner Millennium to leverage that understanding in driving the seamless integration of the system
Experience as product owner in an agile/scrum environment, including management of a product backlog in an agile management tool such as Jira/Version One, etc
Agile product owner certification
Willing to reside and/or the Kansas City area or live in a virtually approved city
Willing to travel up to 30% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
