It's an exciting time to join Cerner, and we're hiring a Performance Improvement Leader to join the Health Systems Operations group! As a Performance Improvement Leader, you will lead performance improvement strategies impacting Cerner client engagements. Responsibilities will include cultivating external client relationships to achieve business objectives; directing and supporting a team of associates responsible for client engagement deliverables; consulting with external clients to define key value objectives for the engagement, scope, and success metrics; and identifying data points for baseline analysis and discovery. You may also be expected to consult with data analyst to develop analytics strategy; lead performance analysis and discovery with clients to develop a performance improvement strategy and approach that achieves improvement objectives; and support business development by defining new portfolio offerings via the creation of collateral and repeatable processes. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • At least 3 years of work experience with technology implementations or strategic consulting work

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of work experience in health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales, or consulting

  • Six Sigma Green Belt


  • Willing to travel up to 60% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Kansas City, MO
