We are currently seeking mid-senior level Software Engineers with commitment to success, proven interpersonal and technical skills, and excited to be in an ever-evolving environment. As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate with Product Owners and other Engineers of varying levels to create and improve innovative solutions that are critical to the success of Spring Venture Group.
What You’ll Do:
As a mid-senior level Software Engineer, you will design, build, test and maintain software solutions for use by internal and external stakeholders. You will be working on our fast-growing development team on an AWS platform, developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.
You will have a high impact on agent and customer experience by helping the team develop and deliver our next generation of call management software, demonstrating solutions by developing documentation and determining operational feasibility. As a mid-senior level member of the team, you will also be solving problems and making decisions daily, handling complex projects with little oversight, and helping to create a culture of learning and improvement by participating in knowledge transfer sessions.
Technologies and approaches used include, but are not limited to, Java, Spring boot, SQL, Scripting languages such as Python/Groovy, Splunk, REST, Docker, Git Repository, Atlassian products and Agile/Lean development practices.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or other relatable field OR equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum of 6 years of successful IT work experience with at least 4 years’ experience in the development role
You have had solid work experience with object oriented programming using Java
Experience with AWS strongly preferred (Lambda/Kinesis/CodeCommit)
You are a proven team player and strong communicator, ready for the opportunity to mentor team members in your areas of expertise
You understand application security concepts ensuring your applications are secure
