Medicaid Market Interface Architect
The Analytics Services team is responsible for creating cutting edge analytics based on Cerner’s business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. These solutions leverage the technology of Tableau, Business Objects, ArcGIS, Snowflake, Vertica and process automation scripting to provide our clients with the capability to consolidate clinical and financial data in order to facilitate powerful reporting and analytics. This job will have an emphasis on State and Public Health, specifically the Medicaid environment. As a rapidly expanding market, this position offers leadership opportunities to define first of its kind process and technology innovations.
Reporting and Analytics integrates data from claims, EHR, HIE and SDOH sources to support reporting, research, and State Medicaid process optimization. As an Interface Architect, you will consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute logic that transfers and transforms data. In addition to critical data integrations, this role includes opportunities to develop process to automate manual processes. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
At least 3 years of SQL query experience
At least 3 years of computer programming related to process automation, application program interfaces and data transformation
At least 3 years of information technology work experience
At least 3 years of experience processing and analyzing medical claim data
At least 5 years of linux command line work experience
Willing to travel up to 40% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Must reside within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
