Implementation Manager
Position Summary
Diagnostic testing is a compass, providing information that helps in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of health conditions.

We currently have an opportunity for an Implementation Manager to join our locations in either Kansas City, MO or Richmond, VA. In this role, you will lead Client Implementation teams supporting key Enterprise National Accounts clients, ensuring their successful implementation, retention and growth. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with the Senior Leadership of National Account Enterprise accounts, while identifying and implementing strategies for growth, and providing solutions that promote execution and stability. You will also have the opportunity to lead teams of high performing employees, working consultatively with cross-functional teams within Abbott to meet client needs and ensure a positive client experience.
We prefer Kansas City, MO or Richmond, VA for the role but will consider remote work as a possible option for a very qualified candidate.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to senior leadership health of NAVICA program, align and execute client’s strategies with Executive Leadership
Manage Product Implementation teams, including talent and organization planning
Handle high-level escalations with clients
Manage relationships with key enterprise clients, ensuring excellent client satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy to expand accounts. Lead the team through the Key Account onboarding process, ensuring that internal resources are allocated as needed for a flawless execution and utilization of products.
Proactively identify each client’s needs, business goals and technology strategy and mobilize internal Abbott resources to provide needed solutions.
Participate in the strategic direction of Account Management.
Support, coach, and grow teams and ensure cross team communication.
Contribute to employees’ professional development and manage the processes of hiring, coaching and developing employees.
Reward/Acknowledge employee achievements and make recommendations for hiring and employee promotion.
Identify areas that need improvement and make necessary changes.
Evaluate performance and build a high performing team
Foster a cooperative and harmonious work environment conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity.
Conduct regular team meetings/communication with staff, including regular one on ones with team members.
Create account plans and retention strategies, and conduct regular reviews with clients to secure client engagement.
Understand and articulate account details regarding account productivity to drive retention and value.
< 20% travel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
8+ years of managing key enterprise strategic accounts
5 years of leading and managing Implementation or Consulting organizations
Preferred
Technical Project Management background a plus
Track record of having driven high client satisfaction rates with client engagement and personal communication style
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, technical, research and problem-solving skills
Mature, professional attitude, accustomed to client implementation/consulting environments
Ability to communicate and develop strong working relationships across multiple levels of the organization
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-pace, rapidly changing and demanding environment, with a sense of urgency in to order to comply with various time deadlines and competing demands
Effectively manage the challenges of supported numerous concurrent clients, escalations and client success
Possess strong organizational, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize workload for yourself and your department, including expedited processing / rush items.
Demonstrated success working both individually and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-oriented environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Knowledge of Abbott products and software applications a plus
Must have proven skills and experience in extensive interactive client relationships
Must have strong organizational, follow up skills and attention for details to successfully manage competing priorities and build credibility with clients
Outstanding leadership skills
