Volvo Group Inventory/Titling Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri

The purpose of this job is to execute both the titling process and buy package transaction process. This position provides clerical support, informational communication of issues, and recommendations of business issues that fall within the scope of this function.

Core Responsibilities

  • Consistently executes the policies and procedures on buy/ trade package activities

  • Consistently executes the policies and procedures on titling activities, within company guidelines, while ensuring that state motor vehicle requirements are followed and issues identified

  • Support management on problem resolution that falls outside normal business operations and procedures

  • Perform required clerical functions as defined by department manager

  • Communicate with branches and managers in buying department regarding issues dealing with buy packages and titling

  • Ability to analyse job activities to provide feedback on process changes and improvements

  • Oversees and assists on Premium title issues

  • Helps process Premium buys, invoices and titles

  • Provides support to accounting department functions as needed

  • Provides back up for the scanning process for the logistics department

Skills & Knowledge: (when applicable)

  • Proficient with AS400 software system

  • Comprehensive understanding of individual state title requirements

  • Proficient in researching new individual state title requirements

  • Proficient with Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

  • Good communication skills

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School diploma / G.E.D
