Interface Engineer I
As an Interface Engineer I, you will be in a client facing role with the responsibility to implement Interoperability products for Cerner clients. You'll be involved in installing and configuring Cerner interfaces and code basic interfaces. This will include facilitating integration, troubleshooting and resolving system interface issues, and supporting testing during the life cycle of the project. This may also include some additional scripting to conform to another systems specifications. Time management, communication, and problem solving skills are the key to maintaining relationships with clients and meeting their expectations.

At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field , or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 1 year of experience with Hl7 or X12 message/file formatting
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
Must live within 60 miles of an international airport
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
