Summary of Duties:
The National Security Campus (NSC) is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facility managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technology (FM&T)
Our primary business is to manufacture sophisticated mechanical, electronic, and engineered material components for our nation’s defense system

This position is for an Electrical Engineer supporting a major program within the Global Security (GS) organization
This Engineering position will support the test domain and include, but not limited to, the following activities
Perform electronic circuit design for interfacing with units under test and automatic test equipment
Perform software development of test sequencing and test operating software between the tester and the unit under test
Plans and performs testing / data acquisition and perform analysis of generated data
Generates test documentation and perform verification and validation testing of automated testers to assure all requirement are being supported
Uses statistical and scientific methods to address and resolve critical engineering issues
You Must Have:
US citizenship to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy "Q" level security clearance
BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Five (5) or more years of applied experience in a test engineering role
Experience in a programming language (such as C# / Python)
Experience with National Instruments’ TestStand and Labview
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
RF design / test experience and/or Software defined radio (SDR) experience
Microcontroller programming experience
ECAD familiarity with OrCAD / Mentor preferred
Familiarity with the following programming languages: R SQL
Ability to be innovative and creative, providing novel solutions to address customer needs
Results oriented with a demonstrated record of problem solving; effective at using data to make informed decisions
Experience in the preparation and communication of information to all levels of stakeholders
Able to work independently with little to no supervision on all job responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple assignments and responsibilities concurrently
Experience using MS Office Suite desktop applications, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment
To take actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified
