Data Visualization Developer Analyst

What you'll do... :

Use previous experience with a toolset to analyze business problems from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

  • Effectively clean, prep, and analyze data using descriptive statistics and exploratory data analysis.

  • Uses mastery of tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or something similar, to visualize and share data.

  • "Designing, implementing, and maintaining reports/ dashboards/ visualizations using visualization essentials.

  • Gathers feedback and creates recommendations for improving the usability of BI solutions.

  • Articulates clear and trusted recommendations based on analysis.

  • Able to execute against set objectives.

What you'll bring to the team... :

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

Work Experience:

  • Intermediate (practical application) PowerBI, Looker, Tableau or Similar

  • Intermediate (practical application) Data Visualization

  • Intermediate (practical application) Spreadsheet tools (e.g. Excel)

  • Intermediate (practical application) Experience using SQL in a business environment

  • Intermediate (practical application) Descriptive Statistics

  • Advanced (applied theory) Data preparation and cleaning

  • Intermediate (practical application) Exploratory Data Analysis

  • 2 years Minimum related work experience
