Overview

The ORI Assistant Director of Operations is responsible for applying CM LEAN System practices in managing performance and continuous improvement efforts related to business processes required to support administration of research oversight committees (IRB, IACUC & IBC) as well as additional ancillary ORI services (ORI Translation Program, ORI Fellowship Program). This role leads the ORI services structure with integrated standard operations and practices across the three research oversight committees, to accomplish consistent and reliable process control, rigorous oversight of staff performance and productivity, and best possible customer experience for research investigators. The incumbent is accountable for day to day oversight management of ORI people, processes and projects. This is intended to promote and maintain focused ownership of ORI service programs outcomes for ORI Program Manager roles. This role functions to assure that ORI Director priorities and responsibilities remain forward focused around mission critical areas of greatest risk and greatest impact on ORI effectiveness, outcomes and deliverables.

  • Bachelor's Degree Master's degree preferred and 3-5 years experience LEAN business practices, performance management, continuous improvement

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $37.76, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
