How will you make an impact?

This position is responsible for supporting the global services portfolio owning the sustaining services for new products and partnering with the Senior Managers to ensure all services will be globally executable.

The Associate Service Product Marketing Manager is a high-output marketing role, responsible for working with service and product teams to support and manage customer-focused service product portfolios, innovation, and pricing strategies to drive preference and demand in support of Thermo Fisher Scientific services.

What will you do?

  • Lead sustaining service offerings from IES ensuring coordination with the LPD business units and field deployment teams

  • Deploy service offerings globally to ensure effective quote to cash process in all sales channels with cross-functional teams to ensure all services

  • Maintain service tools supporting LPD and IES selling teams working in partnership with Market Development and Product Management

  • Support Sr. Product Managers on strategic projects to ensure service is a competitive advantage in the overall Company value proposition at both point of sale and during the product life cycle

  • Ensure all NPI activities required for service deployment are completed for IES at time of product launch coordinating with IES and LPD product managers.

  • Drive continuous improvements with cross-functional teams

How will you get here?


  • Bachelors Degree in Life Science field, Marketing or Business Required.


  • 2+ years of experience in Service, Commercial, Customer Support, Marketing or other related field within the scientific instrument, medical device or service industry.

  • Track record of driving improvement in business performance.

  • Experience in global/international business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working with multi-functional project teams and working cross-functionally

  • Able to work independently with some guidance from manager

  • Able to successfully lead a project involving a group that may include participants from all levels of the business

  • Ability to function independently in a fast-paced changing environment with deadlines and resource constraints

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficient skills in value capture and creation.

  • Proven relationship building skills in a multinational/multicultural environment.

  • Global mindset and strategic agility.

  • Up to 10% travel required both domestic and international Post-COVID.
