Fiserv Enterprise Testing Manager in Jefferson City, Missouri

What does a great Enterprise Testing Manager do?

The Enterprise Testing Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of Solution Testing to provide thought leadership to clients sharing Fiserv’s delivery best practice, tools and guidelines throughout the entire implementation lifecycle. Engagements either 1) large, complex, engagements or 2) a portfolio of projects for a specific client. Complex programs are defined as multiple product implementations combined with software development, systems integration and data conversion, large-scale ERP/Data Warehouse implementations, or custom product development, typically in excess of $10M.

As the Enterprise Testing Manager, you will be accountable for identifying and defining the testing scope and approach and providing overall leadership for the testing lifecycle. The Enterprise Testing Manager role will give you the opportunity to exercise a wide variety of skills in experiences as this critical role is a blend of program management, organizational change management and consulting focusing on the testing domain across multiple products empowering you to deliver on the promise of One Fiserv. In this role, you can look forward to these essential responsibilities:

  • Ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery through direct management and overall coordination of all testing work stream related activities.

  • Supporting the Engagement Director in the creation of the engagement schedule for testing. Directing related activities, internal and external, to include status reporting, analysis, test meetings, defect meetings, and defect reporting across the solution.

  • Delivering, promoting and reinforcing the EDO Testing Strategy at Client Engagement Kickoff and how methodologies and tools can be leveraged to address business needs.

  • Providing test environment and data requirements to the Engagement Deployment Manager and working with the Engagement Training Manager to align training and testing activities.

  • Consulting with the Client's Engagement Testing Manager to develop a client testing strategy/test plan that aligns with Fiserv’s strategy/plan, sharing Fiserv's testing methodologies, providing tools and guidelines, and monitoring the clients testing metrics to jointly look for opportunities to gain efficiencies.

  • Advising and guiding client testing analysts on most effective testing strategies as it relates to delivery schedule and risk.

  • Building and fostering client relationships and being seen as a single point for critical issues during an implementation to improve effectiveness and influence.

  • Providing ongoing project management support in the form of identifying and managing issues, risks, actions. You will be keenly aware how to distinguish and prioritize issues from the noise. Manage the risks that impact engagement delivery and ensure that mitigation strategies are developed and executed.

  • Analyzing and synthesizing testing results to provide meaningful insights of what data is conveying.

  • Preparing teams and readiness for critical milestone testing events such as mock testing and production go live. Being an active contributor to readiness assessments for the client.

  • Cataloging knowledge base for Lessons Learned identifying successes, failures and trends accumulated across tests and effectively communicating to the team as well as internal stakeholders.

  • Being a continual improvement champion and key change agent by furthering the Enterprise Solution Delivery processes through effective utilization of Fiserv Integrated Delivery standard methodologies in the field by mentoring, providing governance and capturing key insights to drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

  • Thrives on keeping pace with industry knowledge of testing best practices.

Role is performed remotely within the United States; not eligible in Colorado

Required qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or high school diploma with equivalent work experience

  • 5 years in leading/managing the execution and testing of large complex solutions of multiple testing phases to include SIT, UAT, End to End Testing

  • 3 years of experience in client facing consulting / professional services

  • 3 years of Program Management experience

  • Experience in banking, credit union, or other financial services

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Power BI and Visio

  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies

  • Travel required : 25% to client site, incremental for internal meetings as needed. Some weekend and evening work may be needed as determined by the engagement schedule

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) awareness

  • QA Certification

  • Fiserv experience a plus
