In this rapidly growing area, you will have the opportunity to craft and define the approach for large-scale digital transformations as you lead the solutioning process for EY digital opportunities as part of multi-disciplinary pursuit teams. In this key role, you will be responsible for architecting the overall solution, scope, and estimation efforts of large-scale, complex digital transformations.
As a member of our Delivery Excellence team, you will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end digital solutions and associated delivery approaches, as well as working with pursuit team members to determine the detailed scope of services and estimates in alignment with EY’s Digital Delivery Methods and overall engagement quality standards. You will collaborate with pursuit team members and other discipline leads to translate the client’s vision into a deliverable solution and approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Directing the end-to-end solutioning andestimation lifecycle within digital pursuits in alignment with our DigitalDelivery Methods and leading agile and scaled-agile delivery practices
Designing and driving solutioning inputs,proposal creation, and estimation efforts for large-scale digitaltransformation efforts
Providing strategic direction and guidance tothe pursuit team to achieve the client’s vision and strategic goals on complex,large-scale digital transformations
Serving as a trusted advisor to the client duringkey meetings and discussions during the sales and solutioning process
Leading communications with executive clientsponsors and stakeholders during the sales and solutioning process
Working directly with business, creative andtechnical pursuit team members to architect multi-disciplinary solutions,define enterprise architectures, identify delivery interdependencies and deliveryrisks
Drafting commercials and modeling engagementeconomics in alignment with revenue and margin targets
Managing resource planning (onshore andoffshore) efforts during the pursuit process
Providing broad technical and functionalknowledge of various key technology and business platforms, includingEcommerce, Content Management, Analytics, Custom Web/Mobile Development, Data,and Cloud
Mobilizing engagement teams in alignment witharchitected solutions and scopes of work and, for some engagements,transitioning into leading delivery in alignment with our Digital DeliveryMethods and leading agile and scaled-agile delivery practices
Providing periodic solution architecturequality reviews of delivery projects
Contributing to the Solution Architecture practicewithin the Delivery Excellence team
Contributing to the ongoing development of theDelivery Excellence practice, including mentorship and coaching to support theprofessional growth of more junior consultants
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's degree and seven (7) or more yearsof related work experience
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in adigital related field (technology, design, etc.), with at least five (5) yearsin a leadership role
Experience defining and architecting digitalsolutions and approaches while weaving these with a formal methodology
Experience estimating complex,multi-workstream digital engagements
Experience in project and program managementas well as strong understanding of product management and product delivery
Experience leading large, cross-functionalteams on complex digital transformation initiatives
Experience communicating with senior clientexecutives and strategic partners
EQ and ability to work in a productive andcooperative way with a variety of people ranging from C-suite executives toindividual contributors and support staff”
Strong written and verbal communication,presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with astrong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise businessprocesses with technology skills
Knowledge of agile and scaled agile methodologiesand leading practices, and prior consulting experience relevant to industry-specificbusiness and technology functions
Ability to lead a team, balance multiple priorities,meet deadlines, and adapt to changes in requirements
Ability to coach and mentor consultants inbuilding skills in linking methodology to solutioning
Ability to deftly identify, manage, and trackdependencies across teams and engagements to manage risk
Experience managing and solutioning pursuitsthat combine strategy, experience design, and technology disciplines
Strong leadership, team building,organizational and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’slicense in the US; ability to travel up to 25%
Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior consulting experience highly preferred
Prior Big 4 consulting experience (withcollaboration experience with other service lines) a plus
Prior experience working with offshoredelivery teams preferred
