Fiserv Credit Implementation Project Manager in Jefferson City, Missouri

What does a great Credit Implementation Project Manager do?

You will be responsible for the management of various activities supporting the implementation of a new client on the credit processing platform. This includes scheduling and coordinating key activities with other Fiserv partners, departments, external vendors and the client to ensure the installation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as primary project contact for clients and internal groups on client related development, testing, implementation readiness and final implementation.

  • Provide continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.

  • Develop project plans and related task lists as necessary.

  • Manage multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion in accordance with client requirements.

  • Develop and maintain professional client relationships and manage expectations with respect to live dates and other key timelines.

  • Provide occasional after hour support of client implementations.

  • Work with resource managers to create capacity plan and resource forecasting.

  • Work with project managers and project teams to ensure internal project audit points are managed and tracked.

  • Develop and maintain consistent standards for project status reporting for internal and external purposes.

  • Represent department for internal special projects with partners.

  • Assist department with documentation and improvements.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an implementation capacity or environment.

  • Minimum 3 years project management experience.

  • Client facing experience to include mitigating risks, de-escalating concerns, and managing expectations with primary stakeholders.

  • Credit card industry experience.

  • Ability to occasionally provide after hours support for client implementations.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word).

  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong level of project management knowledge including the ability to effectively manage and prioritize projects, issues and tasks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of clients and internal staff.

  • Strong sense of accountability and follow through, effective problem-solving skills as well as a commitment to positive solutions and the client experience.

  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Travel required: Minimal travel as needed (5% anticipated) to support business needs.

Role may be performed remotely in the United States; not eligible in Colorado.
