Systems Engineering and Integration Engineer

to become part of the Training Systems team in

St. Louis, MO . Training Systems is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training devices for variants of the F15 aircraft including F15C, F15E, & F15EX.

Position Responsibilities:

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 5+ years of combined experience in the following categories :

Aircraft Avionics/Simulation Systems Engineering

and/or Software Engineering

Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware solutions and uniquely developed components.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

C++, Java, Python, DirectX, OpenGL, UI frameworks and software frameworks.

MBSE, PLE, DOORS, Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI)

LINUX, WINDOWS,

Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) (Multi-Platform Networking)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility

Travel:

Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
