Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of software development methodologies (including Agile), strong development skills (in the Python language, in particular) and the ability to coach/mentor the organization with DevOps best practices, automation, continuous integration and delivery

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):          

5+ years of experience in developing software

Must have experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master

3+ years of experience in Python or relevant scripting language development

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship (An  interim  and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is  required.)

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

We work with a diverse set of technologies, but most of all we value engineers who are eager to learn new ways to deliver value to our users. Some examples of the technologies we currently use include (but are by no means limited to):

Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban, etc.) and agile project management tools (JIRA, TFS, VersionOne, etc.)

3+ years of Windows and Linux system administration

Experience with tools for Continuous Integration/Delivery, Version Control, and Build Automation

Experience with CMake, Jenkins, ClearCase, Coverity, InstallShield, ClearQuest, ReviewBoard, IncrediBuild, Git or similar tools

Education/experience:

Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on the candidate’s eligibility.

Travel:

Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.
