VIVA USA Inc Application Specialist in Hazelwood, Missouri

Req Ref No: GDMOAS25 Location: Hazelwood, MO Duration: 8.5 months Description Description: • This role will develop and support key solutions within the client business unit. This role is part of the middleware development/ support team within the Production Technology group where you will work closely with operations, project management, and Implementations teams. Candidate will be involved in the conception of new features through development as well as daily operations support and client onboarding. This position will be responsible for defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining Ricoh Process Director (RPD) applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. These responsibilities may include configuring workflows, determining conditional logic (including writing JavaScript and Shell Script), testing and analyzing RPD workflow creation. This person will also be responsible for researching, designing, documenting, and modifying print jobs submitted to RPD throughout the production life cycle, and providing guidance to other team members. As a Technical Production Control - Professional II, you can expect to: o Work with print applications o Have working knowledge of the print applications submitted to RPD o Have ability to work with applications that generate print data, i.e., composition tools, host system, etc. o Have a knowledge of printers (printer manufacturer knowledge is preferred) o Oversee printer operations and setup Basic qualifications for consideration: o Understanding of print queues and management. o Basic understanding of Actual Destination in association with print management o Management of the application, including applying patches and major upgrades. o Knowledge of postal requirements as applies to managing mail solution software updates o Knowledge of Inserter requirements relating to interfacing with RPD to reconcile/close out jobs on the inserter and RPD reconciliation GUI Preferred qualifications for consideration: o Support operations staff when they have questions or need RPD support o Collaborate with business owners, operators, managers to determine requirements and review design choices and trade-offs for new workflows o Work with Client Services and Implementation teams to define orderly plans for the on-boarding of new jobs into production o Track the execution of on-boarding plans and present status to stakeholders o Detailed knowledge of RPD configurations, workflows and interfaces o Detailed knowledge of RPD features, extensions and the RPD total solution o Detailed knowledge of RPD user groups and rights o Know how to take a RPD capture for problem determination with Level 2 support o Ability to apply periodic “patches” and “upgrades” VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
