This IT organization is led by a visionary in the way of change and innovation. While Maritz Travel has been a growing its customer base and creating indepth partnerships with its partners, there is much change coming in the way of its products and services road map. This leader needs an Information Security resource dedicated to partnering with IT, Legal, Human Resources, and Corporate Information Security & Risk Management to ensure its third party contracts and customer contracts are up to par with industry standards and within compliance of internal controls. This Information Security role covers many domains/areas. Knowledge of multiple types of security technologies, processes and frameworks are required as well as passion about validating compliance to them.

Information Security Compliance Analyst

Scope:

Reports to the Director, IT or other leadership.

Reporting and Working Relationships

Reports to Director or other leadership. Works with Application Development teams for Maritz Global Events as well as Maritz IT Services. Partners with Operations teams and Legal as needed. No direct reports.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate client and vendor security assessments, contract reviews, and requests for adherence to corporate security policies and standards with client teams and legal department.

  • Monitor and follow-up on the status of assessment recommendations.

  • Manages security compliance activities for customer, PCI, and internal audit reviews.

  • Performs security assessments of service providers/vendors.

  • Evaluates and documents security risks, vulnerabilities and threats to systems and data.

  • Consults and supports Maritz Global Events and Maritz IT Services security teams, network and server administrators, and desktop support team on security issues/incidents and requirements.

  • Work cross-functionally on planning and implementing Maritz Inc. and Maritz Global Events security programs to meet compliance requirements. Review and modify existing security and compliance documents and develop standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in doing assessments of internal groups/vendors and/or hosting external parties audits/assessments and reviewing contracts

  • Good knowledge of an information security and privacy frameworks and requirements of standards and regulations such as GLBA, ISO27001, NIST SP800-53 and/or PCI-DSS.

  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills working with IT and business teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Security certification or degree showing training in security frameworks and knowledge/concepts.

  • Experience in working with security risk assessment methodologies.

  • Knowledge of maintaining security technologies in an infrastructure environment (e.g. hardening servers, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, data loss prevention, malware prevention, SIEM and/or vulnerability scanning tools).

  • Knowledge of security areas/technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, rights management, identity management, access control, networks, servers, security risk assessment/management, vulnerability management, threat modeling, etc.
