Danaher Corporation Applications Scientist in Fenton, Missouri
Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations that show SCIEX CE and CESI product features.
Analyze samples submitted by prospective customers and present results.
Deliver on-site customer training and application support on SCIEX hardware and software platforms.
Provide on-line/telephone customer technical support.
Perform application development directed at advancing the use of CE and CESI in new market areas.
Work with product development and research to assist in defining, developing and thoroughly testing new hardware and software products.
Report results at national and international scientific conferences and meetings.
Identify major opportunities across the pharma and biopharma market verticals for the application of SCIEX technology.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
MS/Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences with 2 plus years of experience in mass spectrometric analysis.
1 or more years of experience in quantitative and qualitative pharma/biopharma related analysis using CE and/or CESI.
Usage of SCIEX CE/CESI instrumentation and software is a plus.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Excellent oral/written, communication, and presentation skills are an absolute necessity.
Experience in sample preparation and method development for mass spectrometry applications.
Up to 75% travel is required for this position.
