Centene Corporation Information Technology Support Specialist in Earth City, Missouri

HourlyPosition Purpose: Provide customer service and technical support to internal departments and vendors regarding all IT related issues

  • Create and manage issue tickets, including resolving, assigning, escalating when appropriate and ensuring completion in a timely manner

  • Investigate, research and trouble basic IT related issues

  • Test new systems and software to ensure accurate documentation of processes and workflows

  • Follow and document operational processes and procedures for all IT workflows

  • Perform new user training and communication of IT policies and procedures

  • Perform departmental reporting and present findings

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in IT, related field or equivalent experience. 1+ years of IT support or IT help desk experience.

License/Certification: ITIL Certificate or obtain within 18 months of hire.
