IBM Systems Administrator in Columbia, Missouri

Your Role and Responsibilities
Member of the EDPS Storage team supporting US only Data Domain Infrastructure; workload deployed across numerous sites, PURE support, and Netapp as part of the US only employee model for the Government, FirstNet Responders, and AT&T company restricted data. Support restricted sites, track installs, team workflow, coordinate with system admin and development teams, and meet with vendors regarding issues of security. The EDPS Storage team supports Break/Fix of US restricted hardware, Project oversite, Design approval, and Audits. The role will have the tasks of reviewing/approving Non-compliance Tracking & Authorization requests, providing technical project management for several security tools (NCTA, SACT, DPA, Avamar interaction for Backups), providing guidance to offshore, and working with other US/offshore teams in the SA and Backup area.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Data Domain advanced experience required. 2. Network experience required. 3. Analytical/Writing skills. 4. Troubleshooting/Problem Solving. 5. Operations Support Experience.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Advanced skills in PURE, Data Domain, Netapp, and Isilon storage devices. EMC XIO, Vmax, Isilon, HP 3Par, Nimble, Hitachi, Pure, and Netapp. Focuses on advanced experience, management, analytical and creative problem solving, and specific professional, technical, functional skills needed to design, deploy, install, support, retire as well as troubleshoot in place systems. Senior level as part of the tiered support model for both team supported and US-only supported storage infrastructure. Must be skilled in network troubleshooting, routing, as well as System Administrator knowledge pertaining to how OS and server relate to and function with storage. Must focus on the nature and level of vision, leadership and influence associated with this position and how it impacts storage, server, and backup infrastructure ecosystems. Must be aware of relevant business measurements and accountability in terms of value add, quality and the use of resources which impact customer satisfaction, strategy, and revenue.
