Olin Corporation is hiring a Manager, Solution Deliveryto be located at the corporate headquarters in Clayton, Missouri (St. Louis area). The Manager, Solution Delivery position will work with the Infrastructure and other IT teams to define technical infrastructure requirements for all Olin IT projects. The role will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of infrastructure components for Olin IT projects within project schedule, cost and quality requirements. Working with the Service Operations Manager, the role will ensure successful transition to Production. Finally the position includes assisting the Technical Architecture Manager to create Technical Infrastructure Architecture for Olin and ensuring project compliance with defined architecture.

Essential Functions

  • Solution Delivery

  • Lead technical requirements gathering for Olin IT projects

  • Lead team to design, build and implement infrastructure components of all Olin IT projects per Olin Technical Architecture

  • Deliver IT Infrastructure within project schedule, cost and quality requirements

  • Manage infrastructure projects alongside the IT Strategy and Business group. The IT Strategy and Business group will provide project management expertise, while this role is responsible for managing the technical aspects of Olin IT projects

  • Provide detailed infrastructure build specifications for all infrastructure components

  • Coordinate with Service Operations Manager to ensure infrastructure aspects of new systems meet operations and support needs prior to Production implementation.Set the direction for standardized deployments of Global IT Infrastructure projects

  • Own the infrastructure tools and applications roadmap (encompassing tools such as collaboration and productivity tools, VMware, OS, and Citrix) for Olin IT

  • Interact with Olin IT vendors and suppliers as required in solution design, build and delivery

  • Work with Infrastructure Technology Manager and IT vendors/providers to assist in support and maintenance of Olin IT infrastructure

  • Provide L4 infrastructure support on escalated tickets

  • Assist in IT audits as required

  • Infrastructure Architecture

  • Assist in the development of Technical Architecture standards and usage guidelines for enabling delivery capabilities based on industry trends, innovation and business drivers.Provide input for and review of solution architecture, design, and other project deliverables

  • Work with Manager Technical Architectto provide infrastructure domain expertise

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience in infrastructure and IT project design, build and implementation

  • 5+ years of large-scale project management experience and/or infrastructure driven solution design experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

  • Thorough understanding of general business operations and processes

  • Ensure work is in compliance with Olin policies and professional standards

  • Meet or exceed Olin requirements relating to deadlines and attendance

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills which provide the ability to establish and build working relationships with individuals throughout the organization in support of IT department objectives; work closely with people at all levels of the organization

  • TOGAF or similar certification

  • Approximately 10% travel required
