Description
Robert Half Technology is scouting out talented Desktop Support Technicians who are able to relay difficult technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format. Problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment may succeed this Desktop Support Technician role. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a full-time opportunity, is located in the Clayton, Missouri, area.
Your responsibilities in this role
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
2+ years of desktop support or other related experience
Creative Teams experience
Microsoft Windows experience required
Hardware Troubleshooting experience
Experience with Microsoft Teams
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
