Paid co-op within the Corporate IT organization supporting the Cyber Security group

Olin Corporation is hiring aCyber Security Co-Opto support the Corporate IT Security organization. This is a paid co-op, January - May 2019, located at the Clayton, Missouri headquarters. Start date is negotiable. As a member of the Corporate Cyber Security team, you will work closely with business professionals across the corporation.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Working side-by-side with experienced Olin Cyber Security team members to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Olin’s information assets;

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Cyber Security team policies, processes and procedures to improve operational efficiencies;

  • Perform operating system and application vulnerability assessments using commercial cyber security tools;

  • Perform research on cyber security threats and trends that could impact Olin; and

  • Assist in the evaluation of new cyber security tools and new functionality for existing tools

Position Requirements:

  • Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree* in Cyber Security and a Junior or Senior classification by January 2019

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

  • There will be some travel during the co-op to Olin locations

  • Must be available to work 40 hours a week

  • Qualified candidate will demonstrate ability to work with others, strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and competency

*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education.
