Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ten or more years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

Oracle’s Global Business Units (GBUs) is seeking a highly energeticTechnical Program Managerfor a mission critical division of the organization. The GBUs acquire, develop and operate Oracle’s Industry Specific solutions, reaching across 8 different industry units and well over 50 distinct products. The role involves contributing to and leading multidisciplinary projects focused on migrating and improving the GBU product sets on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The role will have a focus on moving our entire product portfolio to the cloud, often including complex scenarios. The position entails a high level of internal visibility with senior management. The Technical Program Manager is responsible for structuring and leading complex, strategic internal and external engagements involving coordination across teams, products, and establishing a regular feedback channel into the Development organization resulting in product improvements and innovations. This role will provide a key reporting function into the Senior Management team for the GBUs.
Typical duties and responsibilities include:
This position is focused on program management and executive reporting. Specific responsibilities and required skills include the following:
Collaborate with Product Management to build the backlog, clarify priorities and requirements.
Host standups, grooming/sizing/planning meetings, and retrospectives.
Track progress and metrics in JIRA and other tools as required.
Facilitate surfacing of problems and blockers within the teams and help get them resolved promptly.
Facilitate the removal of blocking issues.
Liaison with other Program Managers and Managers to manage dependencies.
Resolve conflicts and raise impediments and blockers to leadership team for resolution as needed.
